The Atlanta Hawks are just one game away from their first home game of the season against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.
Here are some of the biggest and most important questions and comments you need to know.
The Hawks need to win.
The Hawks are not a team that can rest on their laurels and simply look at the results.
If you look at their record against teams who are ranked ahead of them in the standings, the Hawks are 4-1 and in third place in the West.
With Atlanta having a home game in Philadelphia on Wednesday, the team has the opportunity to improve to 5-2.
It could be a game they lose if they go 0-3 against the 76ers.
They could go 0, 6, 10 or 12 and get swept.
The team has to win the game, especially with the 76er defense coming off a season-high 10.5 steals per game.
This team can’t just sit back and wait for the Hawks to play the Sixers.
The defense is a huge reason why.
Kemba Walker is a big part of the team’s success.
Walker has been a big reason why the Hawks have won 12 straight games.
He is the primary creator of offense for the team, averaging 14.3 points per game and shooting 52.5 percent from three-point range.
The point guard is averaging 10.8 assists per game on the season and he has played a big role in the team going 7-2 since Jan. 1, as the Hawks were 5-1 without him.
They’re getting younger.
The Philadelphia 76, who are the reigning Eastern Conference champs, are coming off their second consecutive season with an NBA record-tying 29-game winning streak.
The 76ers have not had a winning season since 2004-05, when they were 8-23.
This season is a whole new level for the 76, as they have won three of four games in Philadelphia and have now won nine of 10 overall.
Kembo Walker is still a top-10 scorer.
Walker is averaging 23.4 points per contest on 46.5% shooting and is shooting 50.6 percent from the field.
Walker is shooting a career-high 50.3% from the free-throw line, which is his best mark.
His .923 field goal percentage is the best of his career and his .853 mark from the line is the second-best of his tenure.
Walker has been one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA and is a true point guard who is able to attack the rim with ease and finish at the rim.

The Hawks have allowed just four opponents to score at least 109 points, which ranks fourth-worst in the Eastern Conference.
The Sixers defense has improved in recent games.
Philadelphia has played without their top defender, Nerlens Noel, who missed the past five games with a sprained ankle.
The 6-foot-10 guard had surgery to repair the torn ligaments in his right ankle on Tuesday and will likely be sidelined for several weeks.
Philadelphia has allowed a league-high 107.3 possessions per 100 minutes, which has been the worst mark against Philadelphia in the first half of games since 2009-10.
The second half could be even better.
The NBA season has been dominated by two-man games, with the Hawks and Sixers having played each other three times in the last month.
Philadelphia is now 4-0 with a winning record in such contests.
The teams have played five games this season in the second half, winning them all.
The best way to beat the 76 is to score.
Philadelphia ranks sixth in the conference in offensive rating this season at 109.3, which would rank in the top five in the East if the Sixers did not allow a season low in points per possession (18.4).
The last time the 76 could play in Philadelphia, the Sixers beat them 110-110 on Jan. 12.
They are 0-2 against the Hawks in the series.
