Trump: I have a big ‘Make America Great Again’ hat

President Donald Trump is back to promoting his global immigration reform agenda as he looks to push his signature immigration plan through Congress.
Trump on Tuesday hosted a private meeting with congressional leaders at the White House, where they agreed to advance the legislation and send it to the Senate.
The plan aims to overhaul the nation’s immigration system by reducing the number of legal immigrants to the US and granting work permits to those who are here legally.
Trump said he expects Congress to approve the legislation on Wednesday.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump’s comments came as the US Senate passed its version of the bill in a 60-42 vote.
The bill will now go to Trump’s desk for his signature, where it would need to pass the House before becoming law.
Republicans have not yet signaled when they plan to take up the bill.
In an interview with Fox News earlier this month, Trump said the bill would be a “massive and historic overhaul of our immigration system”.
But in a subsequent interview with ABC News, Trump repeated the “massive” immigration reform that he previously described as “very, very important”.
Trump’s interview with Hannity on Tuesday also touched on Trump’s campaign promises to reduce illegal immigration.
“We’ve been saying that this will be the biggest immigration reform since World War II, and we’re going to make America great again,” he said.
“I’ve been very successful with that, we’re doing very well with that.”
